Head further West to Queen Elizabeth National Park to explore a Park that was named after the former Queen of England (Queen Elizabeth II), take a boat Cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel which has the biggest concertation of Hippos in the World. Take a game drive in Ishasha. The Southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park which is also famous for the tree climbing lions. Head furthest South west to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to see the endangered Mountain Gorillas before heading to Lake Bunyonyi one of the most beautiful and most visited places in Uganda.
Itinerary for the 22 Days of Gorillas and wildlife Trip
Day 1
Arrive at Entebbe international airport.
Day 2
Transfer to Jinja, visit the source of the Nile and do a Jinja city tour.
Day 3
Transfer to Sipi falls.
Day 4
Do a full day hike to the 3waterfalls and end the day with a sundowner.
Day 5
Transfer to Moroto, do a hike to mount Moroto.
Day 6
Visit the Karamoja homesteads and transfer to Kidepo valley national park.
Day 7
Full day game drive
Day 8
Hike in the park with a ranger guide, afternoon game drive.
Day 9
Transfer to Murchison falls national park.
Day 10
Morning game drive, Afternoon boat cruise. Hike to the top of the waterfalls.
Day 11
Morning game drive, afternoon hike to the communities around the park.
Day 12
Transfer to Kibale forest national park.
Day 13
Morning chimpanzee tracking, afternoon bigodi wetland hike.
Day 14
Hike to the caves (mabere ga nyina mwiru) combined with the crator lakes hike, transfer to Rwenzori national park in the afternoon.
Day 15
Hike to the Rwenzori mountains, transfer to Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon.
Day 16
Morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise.
Day 17
Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha to see tree climbing lions.
Day 19
Gorilla tracking
Day 20
Transfer to lake Bunyonyi, afternoon boat cruise, also hike to the Batwa(pygmies).
Day 21
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, late evening game drive.
Day 22
Morning hike in the park with ranger guide, transfer back to Entebbe.
